In the SCA, the world is broken up into kingdoms, and the kingdoms subdivided into smaller regions. Dreibrucken is one of these smaller regions.
Where is Dreibrucken?
Dreibrucken is a shire in the Plains region of the kingdon of Northshield. In real life, the shire covers South Central and South Western North Dakota. This map shows the territory covered.

What does Dreibrucken mean?
It means “three bridges” in German. It represents the three bridges across the Missouri River between Bismarck and Mandan.
About the ‘Device’
The shire has this device to the left. It has the following description: (ref: here)
“Argent, a pale azure, in pale over all three single-arched bridges gules, in chief two laurel wreaths vert.”
